Cecy and her team transformed my kitchen and made it the centerpiece of my home! It was a pleasure to work with Cecy - she is smart, inspired and very detail-oriented. Cecy offered me excellent suggestions along the way and helped me to pick out everything from the cabinets and countertop to the pendant light fixtures. Cecy and her team transformed our dark, cramped, outdated 1960s kitchen into a fresh, modern and highly functional space. She had a great vision to maximize the space we had, and we came out of the project with an open-concept kitchen/dining area, a separate wet bar, a mud room and even an extra powder room that we didn't have before! Cecy's attention to detail and creative problem solving (plenty of surprises pop up when you are dealing with a 100 year old home!) left us with a better space than we could have imagined. Her team repeatedly went the extra mile for us with all kinds of thoughtful touches: from designing and building a custom sink to fit into our new powder room, installing a hand rail down our basement stairs, and even installing a beautiful mirror reclaimed from one of their prior projects - free of charge!

We are absolutely in love our new kitchen, it's become our favorite part of our home.

Over the last 16 months, Cecy Gillen Designs have done project after project for me including a full renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen. I could not be happier with the results and plan to continue using them for any future projects. I was happy with the quality of their work and their reliability. They are trustworthy and respected my home. Cecy is a talented designer and helps you to realize your vision for a beautiful space through just the right tile, flooring, color and fixture selections. I appreciated the personalized level of service that Cecy provides and always making herself available when I had a question or concern. You will find no better communicator than Cecy. Not only does she respond to emails/phone calls in a timely manner, but she initiates contact on a regular basis to update you on how the project is going, what they will be working on next and what their upcoming schedule is like. And lastly, Cecy is an excellent problem solver. I have an old house and there were so many unforeseen roadblocks along the way that I thought would derail the project for sure, but Cecy was not to be deterred by these challenges and always seemed to find a workable solution which I appreciated greatly. All in all, they are a wonderful team and I thank them for all that they have done to make my house a beautiful home.

We needed a variety of repairs to get our home ready for market. I didnt want to spend alot, just cosmetic repairs. Ceci totally got it. She found a salvage door to replace our front door, she replaced panels instead of entire garage doors. The project kept growing and they had to juggle their schedules to fit us in. Great company for a variety of work.

Very reliable always in contact daily updates. And was done in the time frame that was promised if I had any concerns it was taken care of with no questions. Very Happy overall with all the work that was done. Hired this company just for a bath remodel and ended up using them for laundry room floor tile, kitchen counters and backsplash tile, New Front entry door and they painted the whole interior of our house A+ contractor would hire again in a heartbeat hard to find people like this.

Cecy and her crew did a fantastic job on our double bathroom renovation. They handled everything from beginning to end starting with the design and planning to the demo and construction with an incredible eye for detail throughout. Cecy is extremely responsive, and her team worked efficiently to finish the project on time. Our new bathrooms have transformed our living experience in our home. Cecy and her team can take an idea and turn it into reality. She offered great advice on our kitchen and guest bath remodels, helping tie in missing touches to complete the design. Her team are skilled workers and manage all trades effectively. When there are scopes beyond her in house services she has an extensive partner network that can create an excellent final outcome. Our kitchen was an especially complex wood flooring scope and they nailed it!

Cecy and her crews were top notch! We had a small, old kitchen with some very unique constraints for space and functionality. Cecy developed numerous alternate designs for us and we worked through each one to arrive at the best option. Cecy was open to our vision but also was honest with us if something didn't make sense or wasn't going to look good. She has a great blend of designer and contractor in her approach. Cecy controlled the operation every step of the way. Her crews clearly respect her work and put their best foot forward every day. With our old house we encountered a couple of unforeseen conditions and also made some tweaks along the way. Cecy was very fair on change orders (only a few) and did some extra work on her own dime. We will look to Cecy on future projects!

Cecy and her team are fantastic! Extremely professional, and very attentive to detail. She ensures her clients get exactly what they want, and the pricing is very reasonable. Her team designed and built an additional lower-level bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. They also painted several rooms, fixed some work that was done by a previous contractor, and added a support beam to our deck. The quality of work is extremely high. I can't recommend her and her team highly enough!
